What Is The Kingdom Triangle?

Well, you're in it! You're surrounded by it. You're being constantly changed by it. The Kingdom of God, that is. Sound mysterious? The Kingdom Triangle is a phrase describing the three main thrusts of the Kingdom of God and was coined by the venerable and wise J.P. Moreland, professor, philosopher, writer and evangelist. He is well known for writing several books on Christianity and Philosophy, including The Kingdom Triangle, Scaling the Secular City, Does God Exist? and more.

On his website, www.kingdomtriangle.com, he challenges us with these words:

"I want to foment a revolution of Evangelical life, spirituality, thought and Spirit-led power.
My  purpose is to mobilize, inspire and instruct an army of men and women for a revolution
on behalf of the cause of Christ. The crisis of our age requires nothing less than a revolution
of those who live in, proclaim, and seek to advance the Kingdom that was not made with hands."

The three aspects of the Kingdom Triangle are:
  • Renewing the Mind
  • Reviving the Soul
  • Restoring the Spirit's Power
If you have read the book or gone to the website, you will notice that I have changed the wording slightly to more closely reflect the words that are actually in scripture that embody these concepts. Just click over to any bible site and do a word search for "renew, revive, restore", and you'll get the idea that God has a lot to say about these subjects. As an example, I got 103 hits in the NASB. Your mileage, and version, may vary.

Join us in our quest to explore the Kingdom Triangle!
