I have no politcal axe to grind here but CNN posted a fascinating short article on the fact that with Justice Stevens stepping down there will be no Protestants on the Supreme Court. This is a reality unprecedented in American history.
I am finding it both amusing and tragic that the "majority" of Americans - Protestants - have had a continuation of the erosion of any power they have had since America was founded. The article makes a case for how this came to be. They also make some real stupid characterizations of Protestants in my opinion. Classic CNN, they have a real scoop of a story, mostly tell the truth and continue to make assinine characterizations of politically incorrect people.
