New York (CNN) -- The man who rescued an 11-year-old girl lost in a dense Florida swamp said Wednesday that God led him directly to her, and that finding her was no surprise.
Did you see this story yesterday? A man went out in the swamp to help find a missing girl. He prayed to God and was lead directly to the place where she was.
I'm not going to pick on CNN for leaving out the fact that James King, the man who was lead by God to find the missing girl, said he was "praying in the Spirit," (i.e. tongues) as he searched for the girl. I'm not going to pick on them for only mentioning the spiritual nature of this situation and the word "God" only within quotes of the people speaking. I'm just glad they had this quote: ""Give the glory to God," Nadia's father, Jeff Bloom, told reporters after seeing his daughter Tuesday". And that's what I'll do. How about you?
This is exactly what a follower of Jesus should do. This is what Watchman Nee says is "Normal Christianity". We should be the ones finding the lost person as we talk to God and ask "How can I help in this situation?". Cool stuff and thanks Lord for finding this child. And thanks Lord for the good coverage in the media.
