Can Bush get the credit if freedom prevails in the Middle East?

Bob, of the famous "Bob's Blog," has mentioned a little thought that I  believe needs some expanding upon. Here is his entire post from February 17th:

One country is not being mentioned in the lists of all the places in the Middle East where there is foment and protest: Iraq! Their government is looking more stable than any of the others.

Now, I have a sense that there is something we are missing in all of the turmoil in the Middle East, namely the real reason and beginning of the whole ruckus. I'll ask it this way: Could this great change and upheaval in the Middle East be the direct result of the Bush Doctrine of foreign policy playing itself out to it's logical conclusion? Is it possible that, while the MSM were belittling and dismissing George W. Bush as a fascist and an idiot, that the pictures and stories of freedom from Islamic oppression were getting out and actually causing hope to arise within the rank and file people of the region, resulting in real change they could believe in?

Lately the MSM has been trying to link our current dear leader as the equivalent of Ronald Reagan. Wouldn't it be just ironic as a snowball in the the lowest level of Gehenna(hell) to see this play out just like Bush said it would, resulting in freedom and liberty for millions of people currently under Muhammad's boot? And if this does come out well, although a historical long shot, do you think Bush will get the credit like Reagan did when the Berlin wall fell in in 1989?
