Have you ever been in a situation in which power was being misused, and you felt powerless to do anything about it? Ken Kesey wrote
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest to describe such a scenario, and what happens when someone decides to fight the power. His heroic character, McMurphy, is demonized by the all-powerful nurse Ratchet, but in the end he earns the love of all the men formerly under Nurse Ratchet's control. Could a novel be written today in which men are abused by a woman and her black henchmen, or have we become too immersed in political correctness? Oh, by the way, Nurse Ratchet wins in the end...or does she?
